Milt "Mook" Clavier was a four-sport letterman at Warren Easton High School and later received a football scholarship to Louisiana Tech. He settled into the coaching ranks and has registered more than three decades as a basketball and baseball coach in the New Orleans Metro area. His 1956 Alcee Fortier basketball team won the state championship and posted a 38-1 record. He tallied a 502-196 record and experienced just one losing season. As a baseball coach, Clavier led his schools to seven district titles and two American legion state championships.
