NEW ORLEANS - Fans of the Michigan Wolverines and the Virginia Tech Hokies, as well as fans of good old-fashioned French Quarter fun, are invited to celebrate the Allstate Sugar Bowl with a Second Line Parade through the French Quarter on Monday, Jan. 2, at 11:30 a.m.

The spouses of the official traveling parties for Michigan and Virginia Tech will join the St. Augustine High School Marching Band as well as team cheerleaders, small floats, horse-drawn carriages and other traditional parade staples.

The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Pat O'Brien's and will proceed from the corner of St. Peter and Royal streets, then uptown on Royal Street to Bienville Street and then lakebound on Bienville to the front of Arnaud's Restaurant for its finish.
