As part of the new look of www.AllstateSugarBowl.org, the website's history section has been greatly expanded. The history section includes many stories that highlight the rich tradition from the first 75 years of the Classic, including stories on No. 1 teams and Heisman Trophy winners, a ranking of the top Sugar Bowls of all-time, photo galleries of the game's Most Valuable Players and all of the game program covers, as well as recaps and statistics from each game. The site's history section will continue to expand and this week, the Allstate Sugar Bowl turns back the clock to 1951 when Paul "Bear" Bryant made his first of nine Sugar Bowl appearances. In that 1951 contest, Bryant directed his seemingly over-matched Kentucky squad against a seemingly unstoppable Oklahoma juggernaut. Instead of the expected result, the longest winning streak in history ended and Bryant was on his way to legend status.
